One woman who should've taken this wisdom to heart is Lindsay on The Bachelor. On Monday night's premiere, she came out in a wedding dress. Yet, she still received a rose from Bachelor, Sean Lowe.?
When asked his thoughts, Sean told E!, "That one took me back. My first reaction was,'I gotta get out of here. This girl's crazy'" after seeing her exit from the limo. "But after sitting down with her, I realized she has a really cool sense of humor and I can appreciate that."
So, no harm done, right?
Well, it depends on how you look at it. A woman who likes a man typically doesn't want to make him run away from her on the first meeting. It isn't the first impression she wants him to have of her.
Trust me, I know it's a television show. Further,?it's rare for a woman to wear a wedding dress when meeting a prospective suitor.
The point is to discern whether you're giving off a vibe that makes a man think you're a bit over the top. Are you texting or calling too often? Hanging out at his place too much? Buying him gifts when he's bought you nothing??
A quick way to tell is honestly answer if you're getting out of the relationship what you're putting in. This isn't about tit for tat! Realize that there is no pain like unrequited love. Do your best not to bring yourself to this.
